OUR STORY

The Artist Approach

The Hybrid
Collective

Dreamers, Innovators,  Photographers, Videographers, Creators, Designers, Artists.

Hybrid was established in 2017 by four industry leaders who saw the the need for education and connections within the analog film photography space. Now Hybrid continues  to grow it's impact by empowering, encouraging, and connecting artists together within the wedding industry. Together we are the collective.

Kristin Sweeting
We are absolutely honored to have Kristin step into the advisor role for Hybrid as she has been part of our community since 2019!
We have sought her counsel long before this role opened as she embodies the heartbeat of hybrid and is well rehearsed in our audience challenges and desires. From breakouts, Masterclasses, to Mainstage she has been a leader in our community since day one. Her heart for the industry and the impact she has created within her business has truly been inspiring to watch. She brings a calm and tenured knowledge to Hybrid and we just adore this talented artist.

Kristin has been photographing weddings and celebrations around the world for over 15 years and photography work has taken her to over 20 different countries. With a deep love of travel, experiences, and people, she seeks to capture wedding days in a way that feel like the viewer stepped back in time but also with modern vibrance, expression, and light. She dives in deep with her clients to truly capture them with authenticity and show their connection with each other, their friends, and their family.

Eric Kelley
Welcome Eric to our advisor board! I personally (Carrie Moe here) have known Eric since 2015 when we were both asked to shoot a cover story for a magazine. I pulled fashion while he captured it and the images still live on.  From there Eric came to lead a shoot at Hyrbid in 2019, teach a Masterclass in 2025 and then Mainstage in 2026. Eric, you are a true friend and we are honored to have you!
Eric  tells powerful stories through images on behalf of his clients, creating timeless works of art that inspire and leave a lasting impact.
Eric has had a successful 21-year career span which has brought him all across the globe. His portfolio represents a depth of knowledge, technical skill and beautiful emotions. Eric combines the best of documentary and fine art wedding and event photography, recognized as a leading top photographer by Harper's Bazaar, Brides and more.

Carrie Moe - Co - Owner
Her Hybrid journey started in 2019 when asked to design some editorial shoots for photographers and she never left.
As an East & now West Coast misfit, Carrie’s bi-coastal 17 years of experience in business and signature clean aesthetic has led her to work all over the world directing art and producing viral images. Through innovative and unique art direction, she has produced fresh and high profile campaigns for companies large and small. Her client list includes Fuji Films, The Ritz Carlton, Berta Bridal, The Marriott and Zappos and when asked, she won’t admit that she carries around an old-fashioned day-planner, and she may or may not have painted one wall of her room five times to find the right color of grey.
Her work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, Harpers Bazzar, The Knot, Brides, and People Magazine and she is passionate about helping creative entrepreneurs  build authentic brands that serve and create beauty in a perfectly imperfect world.

Greg Finck
Truly honored to have Greg step into our advisor role! From speaking on our mainstage in 2018 and again 2026, he has always cared and served our community so well. With his tenured career and brilliance in brand recognition and marketing, we are grateful for his counsel. Greg brings a level of excellence in all that he touches and we are truly grateful to have his counsel continue to guide and grow Hybrid.

Over the past 15 years, Greg Finck has specialized in documenting some of the most exceptional weddings and events across the globe. Aside from weddings, Greg has developed his craft in travel and fashion photography, working for renowned brands such as Elie Saab, Balenciaga or Rime Arodaky. Greg's work is elegant, natural and timeless, and captures the subjects under their most honest side. Strongly influenced by fashion photographers such as Annie Leibovitz, Mario Testino or Patrick Demarchelier, Greg always challenges the status quo.

Tim Ryugo
Uncle Tim as we like to call him, has been truly a beloved figurehead in our community and has been a part of Hybrid since 2017! Literally he has been with us since day one. We knew when we created the position in Hybrid for Advisership that if Tim was not a part of it, the party was over. He is truly sought after in the film community for his thoughtful advice and wisdom when it comes to all things analog film.

Tim started his photography journey when he joined the yearbook staff during high school and fell in love with capturing sports on his Dad's camera. During that time, he started processing film himself, spending his days in the dark room and printing on silver gelatin prints.

He took a leap and sent his resume to Kodak in 1978 and a year later was invited to interview in Rochester NY for technical sales position. Since 1979 he has been with Kodak and now is now Sales Manager for Consumer and Professional Film.
If there is anyone to seek counsel from in the analog community, Tim is the GOAT.
