COVID FAQ + Safety Policy

Thank you for joining us at the Hybrid Collective at the Grand Summit in Park City, Utah. We are delighted that you will be attending our event this year and we hope that you will have an outstanding time with us as we work to ensure the health and safety of all of our guests who will be with us.

To that end, we have prepared this document for you to better inform you of the kind of precautions that we will be taking at this year’s event and assure you of the precautions we are taking. We kindly request that you will take a moment and read through these before arriving at the event, so that you may have the most up to date knowledge possible about the safety standards at our event.

At all times during this event, participants are required to abide by all local and state rules regarding pandemic safety. Any failure to do so may result in your inability to participate in the event, depending on local rules and regulations. Additionally, we will be doing our best to follow the latest guidance issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

The latest local safety guidelines may be found at the Park City Website, located HERE.

Here is a quick summary COVID restrictions and updates as of September 1st, 2021:

Park City has lifted the majority of the COVID-19 restrictions that were previously in place.

Masks will be required indoors per the rules of the event space and venue, The Grand Summit. Because of the Delta variant we are encouraging all participants to abide by the rules that are being put in place by our venue.

Additionally, there is still a mask mandate in Park City when using public transportation systems due to a federal mask mandate. This also extends to private taxis, shuttle services, and ride-share providers.

All meals will be served outdoors during our event, so there will be no need for social distancing or mask-wearing while eating. However, once you are finished eating we do encourage you to resume wearing your masks and social distancing as you transition indoors.

In light of the Delta Variant of Covid-19, the CDC now recommends that vaccinated people now wear masks during large gatherings.

We have a quick checklist of advice that you may use to help ensure that your time with us remains as safe as possible and that you and our other guests remain protected from Covid-19. We ask each attendee to please confirm the following checklist prior to attending the event:

- I have not experienced any symptoms of illness including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, atypical muscle pain or body aches, or new loss of taste or smell anytime within the 48 hours of the event.

- I have not tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID-19 anytime within the 14 days before the event.

- I have not knowingly been exposed to anyone diagnosed with or tested positive for the COVID-19 virus nor anyone currently under quarantine for the virus in the 14 days prior to the event.

- If I should begin to feel ill or have any symptoms while at the event, I will notify The Hybrid Collective and immediately seek medical help.

- If I attend the event and test positive or if I am diagnosed with COVID-19 anytime within the 14 days after the event, I will notify The Hybrid Collective so that specific steps can be made to notify others that may have been affected prior to that diagnosis.

Please be aware that at this time circumstances are still subject to change as we come closer to our event. We would like to have our event in the most open and unrestrictive, yet safest manner possible, and if we all can abide by these recommendations as they are updated, then we should all be able to congregate safely this September and have a wonderful time with each other.

Because of the new Delta Variant of Covid-19, and the new restrictions that are being put in place by various government agencies, we are taking this time to outline our cancellation policy for our event. If you cannot attend our event due to travel restrictions imposed by a state or local government that would absolutely prevent you from traveling, then we shall offer you a credit towards another event that we shall offer at a later date. This credit will only be available if you provide us with written proof of your inability to attend due to legal restrictions in the area you reside. We currently are not offering this credit for any cancellations for other reasons, and all regular cancellations will not receive any refunds or credits.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Thank you!

Following all of this advice will be the best way to ensure that you are able to get the most out of this Event, and that you and those with you will be best protected from Covid-19.
